Vadim Saratovtsev developed his skills as a goaltender under the legendary guidance of Anatoly Tarasov, Nikolai Puchkov, and Vladislav Tretiak, some of the most influential figures in hockey history. A product of the Red Army Olympic Reserve Hockey School, Master of Sports of the Soviet Union in Ice Hockey and Sambo; he honed his craft and embraced a deep passion for the game that has spanned more than 45 years.
In 1990-91, Vadim worked alongside Eddie Belfour of the Chicago Blackhawks as a member of the renowned Tretiak Coaching Group, further solidifying his expertise in goaltending. He is also a proud participant in the Mitch Korn Mentorship Program, which has shaped many of today’s top goaltending coaches.
Vadim has dedicated his career to training and mentoring goaltenders across the United States. His coaching career includes working with athletes at various house, travel, and high school teams in Michigan, Virginia, Louisiana, Florida, and Texas.
Vadim is USA Hockey Level 5 certified and is committed to fostering the growth of goaltenders and defensemen by sharing his extensive knowledge and experience. He remains passionate about helping athletes avoid injuries and reach their full potential both on and off the ice.
